Teaching

Although my academic appointment is primarily research focused, I contribute to teaching and researcher development through postgraduate teaching, professional development programs, guest lectures and policy engagement training. I have completed the Teaching@UQ program and hold accreditation as an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA).

My teaching emphasises connecting research with real-world policy and governance challenges. I encourage students and practitioners to develop critical thinking, policy analysis and research translation skills through applied, interactive and inquiry-based learning.
