My approach to supervision emphasises intellectual curiosity, critical thinking and methodological rigour. I encourage students to develop a strong conceptual foundation while addressing real-world policy and governance challenges. Throughout their candidature, I support students to develop as independent researchers, publish their work, build professional networks and prepare for careers in academia, government or industry.
Students are encouraged to pursue their own research interests while benefiting from regular discussion, interdisciplinary perspectives and opportunities to engage with policy and practice. Depending on the project, there may also be opportunities to collaborate with researchers, governments, industry and community organisations.
